How do I communicate with other users?

All communication on PC Parts goes through the built‑in messaging, for your safety.

  1. Open the listing you’re interested in.
  2. Click “Message Seller” in the seller box. For “Pickup Only” listings, the button is “Contact Seller”, next to the price. You need a verified phone number to start a conversation.
  3. Follow the rules – links aren’t allowed in messages, and neither are requests for bank or payment details or passwords. Don’t share personal contact details, and keep it polite.

To prevent spam, you can send at most 5 messages per minute and start at most 10 new conversations per hour. Accounts that keep exceeding these limits are temporarily blocked from messaging.

Never agree to move the conversation or payment off the platform, and report users who insist. Use “Report Suspicious Activity” at the top of the conversation.
