What should I check before buying from a user?
- Review the listing – look for clear photos of the actual product from several angles. Read the whole description: condition, age, usage, defects and accessories. Compare the price with similar listings.
- Check the seller – look at their rating and reviews, their “Member since” date, and whether they have the checkmark badge (“Verified seller with buyer protection”). Be careful with new accounts that have no ratings.
- Ask questions – ask for extra photos, how the product was used (e.g. whether a GPU was used for mining) and whether it works properly. You can also click “Ask Rig” for technical questions about the product.
- Watch for warning signs – sellers who won’t answer basic questions, push for a quick deal, or want to move the conversation or payment off the platform.
- Pay through the platform – with “Buy Now”, your money is held and released to the seller only when you confirm receipt, or automatically 48 hours after the courier reports delivery if you don’t report a problem.
